This is to inform you that we will be starting our group classes on Monday October 24th. We no longer have a membership for aerobics. Classes will be on a pay as you go basis. The drop-in price is $10.44+tax per class. *Please read below for information on our instructors and class schedule.
Sam will be teaching- Basic ABT (abs, butt and thigh). He will be working the major muscle groups. His fitness philosophy is about considering and maintaining a balanced regime and intensity, through; cardio, balance, strength, and stretching. Also, to ensure safety and results by maintaining posture, form and technique which through his experience enhances coordination, agility and range of motion. He believes that less restrictions from weakness, and tightness, is a self-perpetuating benefit that helps in everyday activities, as well as the exercise process itself which applies to all age groups, and fitness levels. His approach to fitness is a result of past experiences and exposure to disciplined training for competition in; wrestling, diving, gymnastics (on all the apparatus, racquetball, running and from learning new activities like skiing and tennis. Along with the hundreds of workshops from exercise physiologists, nutritionists, etc. at the many fitness conventions he’s attended over the years, after receiving his certification as a Group Fitness Instructor from McGill Athletics in 1993. Elysa has over two decades of experience and training in various styles of yoga including Iyengar, Dharma, Jivamukti and more. She completed her 250hr yoga teacher training at Luna Yoga in Montreal. She began her practice intensively studying Iyengar yoga which focuses on structural alignment through the practice of asanas bringing the body into more precise balance and encouraging ease of movement. Her classes are complemented with a yang-yin style of sequencing as well as the understanding of the chakra energy system, meditation, and breath work. Her teaching is dedicated to inspiring students to practice with awareness and intention on the mat and to use the teachings off the mat in everyday life settings. Hatha Yoga: Elysa’s Hatha class features gentle vinyasa sequences plus challenging and dynamic sequences that will build strength and mobility but will also leave you feeling grounded and empowered. You will slowly flow from posture to posture in a strength-focused way that is safe for everyone. Focusing on breathwork and balance to help manage stress on and off your mat. Postures are held longer than a flow class so you will emerge feeling lengthened and strong. All Levels. Gentle Flow: Elysa’s Gentle Flow class is based on an elegant flow sequence that builds muscular strength and improves overall mobility. This class is also aimed to strengthen focus and teach you how to use your breath and your movements to manage your stress and your nervous system. This class suitable for beginners but also great for experienced yogis as it allows each student to customize each posture depending on their experience and energy level. All Levels. Through an extensive variety of workshops and certifications Vicky has gained the knowledge to coach “one on one”, small groups and group exercise classes for individuals ranging in age from 18 to 80++.
Her teaching experience in the fitness industry has included therapeutic fitness, indoor cycling, strength training, boot camp and high intensity training, etc. Proficient in an array of equipment including TRX, Unda Board, Coreboard, Bosu, Axle Bar and Swiss Ball, among others.
CARDIO: Vicky will start her class with cardio to warm up muscles and loosen up joints. Blood flowing and heart pumping with a variety and choice of both low and high impact exercises. You will strengthen your lungs and heart and boost your mood!
CORE: She will also incorporate core exercises to help you Improve your posture, stability, balance and flexibility with a combination of mat exercises such as planks and up-right uni-lateral moves to strengthen your abs, glutes, hips and back. Strengthening your core means better control and less risk of injury.

Pouya Jey
Kinesiologist & Certified Fitness Trainer, Founder
Founder and Head Trainer at Fitness Factory Montreal, Pouya has been passionate about sports and fitness from a young age. An elite athlete who became a professional swimmer at the age of 10 to become the national record holder in swimming in his first competition. Persian Premier Leagues winner for 7 years in a row, he has participated in over 200 official swimming events including becoming a finalist in youth Olympic Games in 2009. His years of rigorous training led to his passion for kinesiology and sports science. He has a unique training philosophy with over 10 different fitness and nutrition certifications in addition to his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He has years of experience coaching athletes of various levels who were able to reach their peak performance.

Richel is a certified Zumba Instructor, she is committed to assisting you in reaching your health and fitness goals in a manner that fits your lifestyle, preferences and unique needs.
She is part of the Quebec Zumba Community council and is an active host organizing Zumba Masterclass sessions in Montreal. She also acts as a mentor to new Zumba instructors helping them with confidence and guidance.
Her goal is to share and spread the love of Zumba and to build a better Zumba community. She believes that Zumba is a fun way to get fit, make friends, increase energy and build confidence.

Dimitra has been dancing for over 20 years, and is trained in all types of latin, ballroom, social and international dances.
Her love of dance, and passion for expressing herself through music, has driven her to explore the various styles of dance including; Soca,Brazillian Samba, Brazillian Zouk, Kizomba, Can Can and all Latin Styles.
After training in social dances, she continued to compete in latin international ballroom dancing, followed by joining the San Tropez Dance Troupe. While with San Tropez, she performed and competed in over 300 venues including NYC and LA. At the same time, she was hired as a back-up dancer to perform with Latin Artist Wil Veloz, where she
toured on international stages including, Dubaii, Cyprus, & Trinidad. Soon after, she was trained as a dance instructor and went on to teach at the San Tropez Dance School.
In 2006, she got certified as a Zumba Instructor by the creator of Zumba, Beto Perez, but did not begin to teach until 2011 when Montrealer’s were showing a growing interest in the fitness style.
Since then, Dimitra has been actively teaching Zumba and shares her enthusiasm, energy and love of Zumba with her many students.
